My response to this:
You worry about your little life, I'll worry about my little life, and ne'er the twain shall meet, mkay?
It seems to me that there is a paradox in the world of the SAHM.
When it's convenient to the argument, a SAHM needs to do more cleaning than a WOHM, because the kids are home during the day and there's more to take care of in that respect.
HOWEVER, when it's convenient to the argument, a SAHM hardly spends any time at all cleaning and cooking because she's busy bonding with her kids.
When it's convenient to the argument, a SAHM works just as hard as a WOHM.
HOWEVER, when it's convenient to the argument, a SAHM looks forward to her afternoon nap and stays in her jammies until 2pm.
When it's convenient to the thread, a SAHM has no free time at all, what with all the cooking and the cleaning and the hey hey.
HOWEVER, when it's convenient, they spend all their time knitting hats and sweaters and sewing and reading.
